Hassantuk is the UAE's mandatory national smart monitoring system designed to provide 24/7 fire and life safety protection for both residential villas and commercial buildings.
Role for MOI and Civil Defense (ADCDA)
The Ministry of Interior oversees the program to ensure national safety standards are met. The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority (ADCDA) and other regional Civil Defense departments use Hassantuk to receive verified, real-time alerts.
Direct Connection: The system connects heat and smoke detectors directly to a central Command & Control Center.
Verification: When a sensor is triggered, the Command Center verifies the alert via telephone within 120 seconds.
Emergency Response: Verified alerts are automatically transmitted to Civil Defense with precise location details to reduce response times and save lives.
Role for Dubai Police
While fire response is primary to Civil Defense, Dubai Police coordinates with the system for overall urban safety and security infrastructure.
Integrated Safety: Hassantuk is part of a broader "Smart City" initiative where safety data can be shared across emergency services.
Compliance: In Dubai, as in other emirates, Hassantuk is legally mandated for all villas and commercial buildings to ensure they meet the MOI Fire Code thresholds.
Key Components
Smart Sensors: Wireless heat and smoke detectors installed in every room.
Alarm Panel: A central hub in the home that communicates with the Command Center and allows manual activation.
Dedicated SIM: The system uses a dedicated M2M SIM card to ensure the signal is sent even if home internet fails.
